Google Photos, like other Google apps, has improved a lot. It started with a simple photos/videos storing and sharing app, but now it has graduated to an app that allows users to share animation to Instagram on Android and iPhone. The process is pretty much simple on Android phones and tablets. However, on iOS devices, users have to rely on a third-party app to convert GIFs into videos as users cannot share animation or GIF directly on Instagram from iPhone or iPad. But there is a way. Read this tutorial and get to know how to share Google Photos animation to Instagram from Android and iPhone.
Assistant is a cool feature in Google Photos. Do not mix this assistant with Google’s virtual assistant. Google Photos uses intelligent machine learning and quickly identifies people, places, and things. When you launch Google Photos on your smartphone, Assistant is the third option in the bottom menu. There, you will see four circular buttons viz. Album, Movie, Collage, and Animation. This means, your Assistant in Google Photos helps you create a new Album, Movie, Collage, and Animation.

Share Google Photos Animation to Instagram from iPhone/iPad
For iOS users, this task of sharing Google Photos animation is a bit difficult. They cannot do this directly as they have to convert the GIF into a video to share Google Photos animation to Instagram.
For this purpose, iPhone and iPad users have to download a paid app GiFLab.
To create animation, iOS users have to follow the same steps as mentioned above. Once the GIF file is created, they need to launch the GiFLab app on their iPhone or iPad and select ‘GIF to Instagram.’ Next, choose a recently created GIF and adjust the playback speed. And finally, tap ‘Save and share on Instagram.’
That’s all friends!
Remember, Google Photos on iOS allows users to save the animation directly on the default Photos app. This means they can share their animation files on other apps as well.
Alternatively, you can use GIPHY app to Post Animated GIFs on Instagram from Android and iPhone. But this app only allows you to share only those GIFs, which are in vogue. You have to search GIFs as per your mood and then share them on Android and iPhone. Google Photos allows you to create customized GIFs to share.
