Last month, we revealed that Nokia is going to present its first ever Android Smartphone early this year which will cost around $150. Ever since this announcement, there has been a significant movement in HMD Global, the Finnish tech company which has created the Nokia Brand and as per the latest news coming in, we will see the first Nokia Android phone as soon as in February.
However, to start with Nokia is going to release this smartphone in China only but in near future, as per HMD Global, they will introduce the Nokia brand smartphones across the world soon. For making that big announcement, the company has also posted a teaser on Facebook. If we read between the lines from what this teaser is suggesting, 26th February is the date for the official announcement.
Nokia’s First Ever Android Phone to Unveil on 26th February
26th February is also a great date as it matches the start of the Mobile World Congress 2017 show which will begin on the same date in Barcelona. As we revealed before, that Nokia 6 (as it’s rumored name suggests) is going to be a mid-ranged smartphone and will attract lot many users who fall into this category.
Not only Nokia but many other smartphone giants like Samsung and LG too are waiting for MWC to make big announcements. So, it will remain to be seen that how bigger impact Nokia will make with its ‘comeback phone’.
