Currently, this feature will be available on Windows 10 PCs and laptops only but Microsoft will soon spread it to other platforms like tablets and smartphones as well. This move will then soon put Windows at par with its rivals Google and Apple who already provide ebook service in their stores.

As always Windows is not commenting on this update, but it has not denied it either. The official spokesperson of Windows said, “Windows Insider Program was created to enable Microsoft to test different features and functionality which will influence future versions of Windows. We regularly test new features and changes to existing features to see what resonates well with our fans. Stay tuned for more information soon”.

This move also suggests that Windows is also changing itself with the time as the demand for ebook is increasing every day and it is predicted to increase in many folds in days to come.
