Step #1. Launch the WhatsApp app on your Android smartphone.

Step #2. Tap on the chat window or contact you want to do a video call with.

Step #3. Tap on calling icon right at the top of your screen.

Step #4. You will be given two options one is normal voice call and the other is a video call, select video call.

Before you start using this feature you should note that this feature will work only if both the parties are having a beta version of WhatsApp. If your friend doesn’t have the beta version then your will get a message saying that “the recipient needs to update to the latest version”. The update is live for all the WhatsApp beta users.
