The Secret Conversations feature is available for both Android and iOS devices.
It has to be manually enabled for each chat.

Step #1. Launch Messenger app on your smartphone.

Step #2. Next, you have to select the user with whom you want to have Secret Conversation.

Step #3. Now, you need to tap into the username.

Step #4. Finally, you have to tap into Secret Conversation. Then, you need to tap into OK.

Check out the timer icon which is right next to the Secret Conversations option. You can set a timer to make the messages disappear.

That’s all there is to it! Now, go ahead and chat with your friends secretly.

Currently, this feature doesn’t support some features like sharing GIFs or videos. It restricts the dialogue exchange to just one device. As the conversation will not show up if you log into your account from another device. Moreover, the secret conversation with a user is shown differently.
