Step #1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer.
Step #2. Now, connect your iOS device to computer using Lightning to USB or 30-pin Dock to USB cable.
Step #3. Click on Import photos & Videos option.
Step #4. By default, all the photos will be imported. If you don’t want to import some photos, click on them.
Step #5. Click on Continue.
Now, your pics will be transferred to the Photos app on your computer.
How to transfer iPhone or iPad pictures to a Windows 10 computer using File Explorer
Step #1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. It will allow your iOS device and computer communicate with each other.
Step #2. Connect your iOS device to computer using Lightning to USB or 30-pin Dock to USB cable.
Step #3. Now, open Windows Explorer on your computer.
(You can use the Windows key + E shortcut to open Windows Explorer quickly.)
Step #4. Next, you have to click on This PC.
Step #5. You have to click on your name’s iPhone in This PC sub-menu.
Step #6. Double-click Internal Storage.
Step #7. Next up, you have to click on DCIM.
Step #8. Now, you need to double-click a folder.
Step #9. Now, you have to click an image.
In order to select several images at one go, simply hold Ctrl on your keyboard and choose the images.
Alternately, use Ctrl + A shortcut to select all the images easily.
Step #10. Click on Copy to at the top of the window.
Step #11. Click on Choose location in order to select a location.
Now, you have to select the folder where you wish to keep the photos and then click on Copy.
How to transfer photos from iPhone or iPad to Windows 10 using iCloud
Windows 10 has the ability to use iCloud to wirelessly sync your photos as long as you’ve backed up the photos on your iPhone or iPad to iCloud. Here’s how to do it.
Step #1. Open any web browser on your computer and over to iCloud for Windows download site.
Step #2. Click on Download.
Step #3. Now, click on Save.
Step #4. Next, click on Run. And then, click on I accept the terms.
Step #5. Click on Install → Finish.
Now, your PC will restart. Once it has restarted, you should see the iCloud on the screen.
Step #6. Next up, you need to enter your Apple ID and passwords. Then click on Sign In.
Step #7. Now, you have to click on Options button next to Photos.
Up next, check the box next to My Photo Stream and uncheck the box next to Upload new photos from my PC
Step #8. Click on Done → Apply.
Now, all the photos of your iCloud will now be downloaded to your PC.
