For kids, Christmas is all about holidays, gifts and Santa. Gone are those days when grownups used to make up stories about Santa visiting home with presents and showed themselves up as a Santa in the end. Now like the smartphones, kids are way too smarter. Since you can’t hold them for long by saying “Santa is on his way,” you can actually show them where on the North Pole Santa is or allow them to talk to the ‘jolly man in the red suit’ himself. No, it is not another Santa story, thanks to Google and Amazon for their interesting innovation which made this possible. Let’s see how you can track and talk to Santa using Amazon Echo and Google Home devices.

If you have an Alexa-enabled Amazon Echo device, chatting with Santa is super-easy. To track Santa with your Amazon Alexa speaker you need to enable the KAYAK skill in it. Kayak and NORAD Tracks Santa are the two newly added skills by Amazon which allows you to talk and track Santa. To enable it:
Step #1. Open the Amazon Alexa app on your Android or iOS device.
Step #2. Select Skills in the left menu.
Step #3. Search for “Kayak”.
Step #4. Open the skill page, and tap Enable Skill.
Or else you can always ask Alexa to enable the skill by saying, “Alexa, enable KAYAK.” In the same way, you can enable NORAD Tracks Santa and make use of any one of the two skills to track Santa’s movements.
