This feature enables users to procrastinate their emails; this means, they can check some emails and reminders later, i.e., Later today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next week, and Someday or Pick date & time option. How to Snooze Emails in Gmail on your Android and iPhone

First off, you need to update Gmail App to the latest version.

Step #1. Launch your Gmail app on your Android or iOS device.

Step #4. A few options will swipe up from the bottom of your device screen. One of the options is Snooze, and you need to tap on it.

You will get six different options as you have seen on your Android or iOS device:

  • Later today
  • Tomorrow
  • This weekend
  • Next week
  • Someday
  • Pick data & time

These are the default options; you can select any preferred option to snooze emails on your Gmail app.

How to Snooze Emails in Gmail on Computer

If you are still using the classic Gmail on your computer, you can switch to the new Gmail by clicking on the Settings button and then click on ‘Try the new Gmail’ option from the drop-down list.

Next, it’s quite easy to snooze an email or many emails in your Gmail on your computer.

Step #1. Open an email from the Primary, Social, or Promotions tab.

Step #2. Now click the Snooze icon at the top of the email.

A drop-down menu (Snooze until…) will appear there with some options: Later today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next week, and Someday. You can also click on Pick date & time option in the last.

Note that the email will disappear from that folder (Primary, Social, and Promotions) and will appear again on the day you have fixed. This means the email has been snoozed.

Alternatively, you can snooze your emails without opening the email. When you hover the mouse over an email, you will see four options: Archive, Delete, Mark as read/unread, and Snooze. You can click on snooze button and follow the same process as mentioned above.
