Another new feature WhatsApp has added especially for iOS users is the ‘Data and Storage Usage’ feature. This is a unique feature where you can check exactly how much data each of the recipients are occupying on WhatsApp. The chances are plenty for this feature to get popular among the users.

To check this feature, all you need to do is to follow the path below:

Go to Settings on your WhatsApp app → Tap on Data and Storage → Tap on ‘Storage Usage’ option at the bottom of your screen.

Go to Data and Storage Usage, then tap on Storage Usage

Now you can see that each of the recipients got a certain number of space occupied on your WhatsApp in a list, next to their names. At the top of this list, there is total storage information. This feature will help you to delete those chats which is occupying higher number of space on your WhatsApp app. What this will do is that once you delete a certain chat window your smartphone’s memory will have more breathing space.

Both these new features are extremely user-friendly and are expected to gain more popularity as the word spreads across.
