Well, if you have an iPhone, then you won’t forget anything, anymore. Now you can simply schedule a text message on iPhone, and send a message on time you want.
Since there is no scheduling option on iPhone, but there is a third party app called ‘Delayd’ that allow iPhone user to schedule text message. How to Schedule Text Messages on iPhone without Jailbreak
Step #1. Download Delayd app from iTunes and then install and launch on your iPhone.
Step #2. When Delayd prompts you to grant access to your contacts and send you notifications give it the access because without that you won’t be able to schedule your messages.
Step #3. Enter your country name and mobile number then tap on Next.
Step #4. Now Delayd will send you a 4-digit verification code on your cell phone which you need to use for the authentication process.
Step #5. Enter your profile name (not more than ten characters) and also add chat icon from existing options or by adding from your photo gallery. Make sure tap Finish.
Note: Over here Delayd will again ask you to access your photos, allow access and select the picture you feel suitable for your Delayed profile.
Once the above process is over Delayd will say Thanks for signing. Now the real fun starts.
Step #6. Tap on SMS at the bottom of your screen and then on Compose SMS to write a new SMS.
Step #7. Now, Tap on ‘+’ icon to add the contact. Over here you will get two options, one is to ‘Add from Contacts, ‘ and the other is ‘Add Group.’ Choose the option, which you require.
Step #8. Next, you need to tap on the arrow next to the option to Set send time. Then you have to manually set the Time. Make sure tap Done.
Step #9. Now, Tap on the arrow next to Non-recurring. Then you will have seven options to choose from: Non-recurring, Recur daily, Recure Weekdays, Recure weekly, Recur fortnightly, Recure monthly, Recur Yearly. In the End, Tap on Done.
Step #10. Type your message in ‘Compose message here…’ Field. Remember you are allowed only 145 characters in a single go.
Step #11. Once you type the message tap on ‘Schedule’ button at the bottom of your screen.
Now your message is scheduled and will be delivered to the recipient at the time of the schedule. If you are using this app for the first time, you can even call the recipient to confirm whether he received it or not.
