There are two different methods on how you can scan QR Code depending on whether you have an iPhone with the 3D Touch feature or without it. So first let’s check how you can scan QR Code on iPhone with 3D Touch feature.

Step #2. Perform a 3D Touch gesture on the Google Chrome app icon and then from the 3D Touch menu tap on ‘Scan QE Code.’

For those who don’t have the 3D Touch support in their iPhones, please follow Step #3 and Step #4.

Step #3. Go to the first page of Home screen and swipe right and access Spotlight.

Step #4. Now, type ‘QR Code’ in the search box and then scroll down till you find ‘Scan QR Code’ option, which you will find under Chrome section and then tap on it to open.

Now the following steps must be followed by both 3D Touch and non-3D Touch iPhone users.

Step #5. Now your iPhone’s camera must be opened and displaying a frame with rounded corners. Point your camera in such a way that QR Code fixes right in the center of that frame.

Note: If the QR Code is in the format of an URL then Safari will automatically open the related display.
