But now the recent update by Instagram has suggested that now you can put any number of picture or videos in drafts folder and then you can post them whenever you want to during the course of day or week or even month. The procedure of saving draft is also easy. A sound interesting isn’t it? So let’s know how one can save a picture or video in drafts on Instagram.
How to Save Instagram Post as a Draft on Android and iPhone
Step #1. First of all, update the Instagram app if you have not updated it recently.
Step #2. Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone.
Step #3. Tap on the Camera icon, choose a picture which you wish to save in draft and use it later and then tap on Next.
Step #4. Add the effect you wish to in your picture and tap next.
Step #5. Now you are on the final stage of sharing. Put the description and location and then tap on the “<“ arrow next to “Share to”. You will be back on effects menu.
Note: You have to post either description or select the location to add your post in drafts else it will not be saved.
Step #6. Tap on the “<“ arrow again and you will be prompted by a pop-up to either Discard the post or Save Draft, tap on “Save Draft”.
This is it. Now your post has been saved in drafts and you can use it at the time which pleases you.
How to Retrieve and Post the Drafts on Instagram
Step #1. Launch the Instagram app on your phone.
Step #2. Tap on the camera icon, now you can see all the drafts saved right at the top of the gallery options. Choose the draft post you want to post now by tapping on it.
Step #3. Tap on Next on the top right of your screen.
Step #4. Now tap on the Share button at the top right of your screen.
Your saved draft is now live on your Instagram Time Line. How easy it is right? Now start saving as many pictures or videos you want to and share with your friends at a later date.
