This is a pretty simple yet highly effective trick to prevent your device from eating into a lot of battery. It’s one of my favorite tricks to improve the battery life on my device.

Step #1. Pull down from the top of the screen on your smartphone.

Step #2. Next up, you need to drag the screen brightness button towards left to decrease the brightness.

Make sure to keep the button in the middle.

How to Turn on Battery Saver in Pokemon Go for Android

There is a feature called Battery Saver which ensures that the game doesn’t eat into the battery of your device while you are engrossed in playing it. It’s primed to dim your screen as well as slow the refresh rate while you’re walking.

Step #1. Launch the Pokemon Go on your Android device.

Step #2. Tap on your Pokeball.

Step #3. Next up, you have to tap on Settings.

Step #4. Finally, you need to tap on the empty circle next to Battery Saver to turn it on.

Turn off the Camera

Within Pokemon Go, you have the option to disable the camera. When the Camera is turned on, it will open when you want to capture a Pokemon. In order to turn off this feature, simply flip the tiny switch with AR next to it the next time you wish to catch a Pokemon.
