If you are in possession of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, then rest assured that you are having one mighty powerful device with you. But for many Android users, the specifications are not enough and for them, the power of customizing the device is more important than only holding the Note 7 in their hands. For them also the Galaxy Note 7 will not disappoint at all.
Because we now have the SuperSU flash from TWRP recovery and also CF Auto root, we can easily unlock the bootloader on Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Here are some of the simple steps which will guide you to unlock the bootloader on your Note 7.
How to Root Your Samsung Galaxy Note 7
There are two ways to root the Galaxy Note 7. The bootloader can easily unlock Galaxy Note 7 by either flashing the CF Auto Root kernel via Odin or by flashing the SuperSU zip. Let us know about this more in details.
But before we start proceeding or learning how to root Galaxy Note 7, please make sure that you have taken a backup of your all-important files like documents, pictures, and videos. Please also note that Note 7 rooting also needs disabling of dm-variety and also a forced encryption, for which we require the factory reset of your device.
First Download the SuperSU v2.76 from Here.
Now follow these simple steps carefully and read them again and again before applying them
Step #1. First, install the TWRP recovery on your Galaxy Note 7.
Note: Now Boot your Note 7 into TWRP recovery by doing next steps.
Step #2. Switch off your Note 7.
Step #3. Press and hold ‘Home + Power + Volume Up’ buttons simultaneously for a while and you will see your Note 7 logo on the screen. Once that happens, release all three buttons at once and your device will boot into TWRP recovery.
Step #4. For the first time TWRP recovery booting you will be prompted to “Allow System Modifications”. Just swipe towards the right and allow it.
Note: We are sure you have taken a backup of all data before proceeding to the Step #5, given below.
Step #5. On the TWRP menu, you will see WPE → Format Data (not advanced) option. Type “yes” and proceed.
Step #6. Now connect your Note 7 to your PC and let your PC transfer all the files to the device via MTP connection which is supported by TWRP.
Step #7. Transfer the SuperSU zip file you have downloaded earlier from the link given above to your Note 7.
Step #8. Select “Install” from the main menu of TWRP and then flash the SuperSU zip file you just transferred to the device in the step #7.
Step #9. Now reboot your Note 7.
This is all you need to do! If you have followed the instructions given above you can easily root access once the boot is done. If you still want to verify it, just download or install any root checker app from the Google Play Store.
