Currently, this new feature has been found for limited Android and iOS users, but it will be soon available for all Instagram users across the globe. You can check the text-only feature with a new “TYPE” option at the bottom of the stories camera along with Live, Normal, Boomerang, and other options. Before heading to the steps, update your Instagram app to the latest version from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Step #1. Launch Instagram app on your Smartphone.

Launch Instagram app on your Android or iPhoneStep #2. Tap on Camera icon or swipe right to get the story posting section and tap on new “TYPE” option at bottom left side.

Tap on Camera icon and then Type option in Instagram AppStep #3. Now you can tap the round ball icon to change the background of the story and tap on the top at the TYPEWRITER, STRONG, MODERN, and NEON to change the font style as well as a background theme.

Tap the round ball icon to background and Tap on TYPEWRITER to font style in Instagram AppStep #4. You can also add a background image with by tapping the camera icon at the bottom.
