How to Link Spotify Account to Google Home

Step #1. Open Google Home app on your device.
Step #2. Tap on the device button on the top right corner of the screen.
Step #3. Tap on the menu button on the top upper right corner.
Step #4. Tap on Settings.
Step #5. Tap on Music.
Step #6. Select Spotify.
Step #7. Now, you will get a popup with “Link your Spotify Account” then tap on Link Account.
If you don’t have an account, then you can create a new one by tapping on “Sign Up to Spotify.”
Step #8. Enter your login details and hit “Log In” (You can also select “Log in with Facebook” if you want)
Step #9. Tap on “Okay” to confirm.
Now Spotify is your default music provider on your Google Home speaker. From now, you can tell Google Home to play music without adding “Spotify” word on the commands.
Just say “Hey Google,” The Weeknd playlist’, you can also command Google Home to stop, pause, play and set volume.
If you do not want to continue with the Spotify, then you can unlink your Spotify by just tapping on “Unlink” option.
