While some apps have been made to work with the only iMessage, some work across iOS.

Step #1. Open App Store on your iPhone.

Step #2. Search the app which you wish to download. If there is “Only for iMessage” text below the app icon, it has been designed to work with the only iMessage. If there is “Offers iMessage App” text below the app icon, it has been designed to work across the iOS along with iMessage. Tap on “Get/Price” icon to download the app on your iPhone.

Once it has been downloaded, it will be available in the app drawer of the Messages app.

Step #1. Launch Messages app and open the conversation thread.

Step #2. Tap on the Apps button beside the “iMessage” text field.

Step #4. Tap on “Store.” Now, you need to find your favorite app in iMessage App Store and tap on Get.

Once it has been downloaded, you will see in the apps list. You can quickly access it from the “Grid” view.

iMessage apps are highly user-friendly. From letting you play games to make payment, they have the qualities to impress you to the core.

Step #1. Open Messages app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Next, you have to open the conversation thread. Tap on the “App Store icon” next to the “iMessage” text Field.

Step #3. You will see your first app which you used last time.

  • To access the other apps you need to just swipe left on the keyboard view to access other apps.
  • In case you have downloaded plenty of apps, tap on the “Grid” icon at the bottom-left corner. Your installed apps will be listed. Locate the app and tap on it to open.
  • Tap on the “up” arrow button at the bottom-right to open it in the expanded view.
  • You can access any sticker apps from the Recents screen.

How to Rearrange/Delete iMessage Apps Right from Messages in iOS 10

If you don’t want to use any iMessage app, you can delete it easily.

Step #1. Launch Messages app on your device → Conversation thread → App Store.

Step #2. Next, you need to tap on the Grid icon at the bottom left corner. Locate the app you wish to delete. Tap and hold on the app and then tap on When it starts to wiggle, tap on the “x” button to delete it.

To rearrange the app, simply hold on the app and drag it where you want to put it.
