Most of us are very crazy about capturing stunning photos. With iPhone 7/7 Plus boasting of excellent Camera, it’s hard to not let our hair down and go for an awesome selfie spree. Personally, I have enjoyed making the most of Portrait mode on iPhone 7 Plus as it’s primed to let you snap pro-level shots.
Just like most of you, I also keep some more personal photos on my iPhone. In order to prevent anyone from accessing those images easily, I hide them.
When you hide any images in iOS 10 on your iPhone or iPad, they disappear from the main photo view such as Moments, Collections, and Years. However, the hidden images remain available in Albums as well as searches. Let’s find out how it works!

Step #1. First up, you have to launch the Photos app on your iPhone.
Step #2. You need to navigate to the images you wish to hide.
Step #3. Now, you have to tap on Select at the upper right corner. (If you want to hide an individual image, just tap on it to select)
Step #4. Next, tap on the Share button.
Step #5. Next, tap on Hide at the bottom.
Step #6. Finally, you need to tap on Hide Photo.
Now, these photos will appear in a Hidden album under the Albums tab.

What if you no longer want to hide the photos? There is an easy way to unhide your pics.
Step #1. Open Photos app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Next, you will have to tap on the Albums tab.
Step #3. Now, you need to select the Hidden album.
Step #4. Next, tap on Select at the upper right corner.
Step #5. Next, you need to choose the photos you want to unhide. Then tap on the Share button.
Step #6. Tap on Unhide at the bottom.
That’s it! These photos will now appear in the main photos view.
I agree that it’s not the perfect way to hide your photos but it’s good enough to add an additional layer of security to your pics.
