While people are enjoying go live feature on Instagram, Twitter, and more platforms, world’s best video streaming service has finally made it easier to directly go live on YouTube from Google Chrome browser on the computer. Hence, any YouTuber can easily live stream any event and chit-chat with followers or fans around the world who are watching.
Previously, you had to use an encoder and additional streaming software or extra set up to live stream on YouTube. But now, YouTube has taken one step further and added a go-live option to the YouTube header. Currently, this options is available in Chrome, and it will be soon available in other browsers as well. How to Live Stream on YouTube Using Google Chrome on Windows and Mac
Step #1. Open Youtube.com on Google Chrome browser.
Step #2. Click on SIGN IN at the top right corner and login with your Google account. (If you already sign it, great!)
Step #3. Next, Click on new Create Video icon next to the search bar.
Step #4. Now click on new “Go Live” option.
Once you click Go Live, you will have to Allow Youtube use your microphone and camera.
After that, your computer will open your device webcam with live stream information.
Step #5. Here, you need to create a title of the live stream event and set who can see your event. Furthermore, there is “More Options” to add more description and advanced settings. Once all set, click on “Next.”
Step #6. Now it will take three seconds to create thumbnail and show you the live stream preview. If all good, just click the blue “GO LIVE” button to go start the live stream.
Step #7. If you want to end the live stream, just click on red “End Stream” button at the bottom and then “End.”
Once you start following these steps to go live on YouTube, it will only take a minute to Start live streaming from Chrome on your computer. Once your event finished, it will show up in My Channel section.
