Samsung Galaxy Note 8 – the big screen phablet launched with some impressive features. It featured with dual camera, live messaging, infinity display, app pairing, and much more productive features. There is an App Pairing feature that grabs the attentions. I was wondering how can I get this on my current Android device. Luckily, I have a third party app which allows me to get Galaxy Note 8’s “App Pair” feature on any Android phone.
The app is Screens – Multi Window Manager is the only app that let you enjoy two screens simultaneously with split screen mode via creating a shortcut. Well, it is very simple to create your own App Pair on your Android smartphone or tablet. Let’s see how any Android OS User can use this app.
How to Get Galaxy Note 8’s App Pair Feature on Any Android Phone
Note: Make sure that your Android phone is running Android 7.0 or the later version of Android OS.
Step #1. Download and install Screens – Multi Window Manager app from Google Play Store.
Step #4. Next, tap on the add button and choose two apps that you want it in split screen mode or just like App Pair feature of Note 8. Make sure that app you have selected can support split screen mode.
Step #7. Now, open the split screen shortcuts that you have created. Here I have created – Chrome+Calc.
Once you open the app, you will see two apps running simultaneously on your device’s screen just like Galaxy Note 8’s “App Pair” feature. You can enlarge or adjust the one screen of the app via a single horizontal line at the middle of the screen.
As you have seen in the above picture that it seem like App Pair feature of Note 8. The app works great without any bugs. The great thing about the app is that it is available free to download. It works excellently for most of the apps, but some apps like Amazon’s Kindle and Uber don’t support the split screen mode.
Hence, when you tap on the non-supported app, you will get a pop-up notification to tell you that the app doesn’t support. If you love this feature and wish to get Note 8’s “App Pair” feature on your Android phone, then follow above procedure to get and I am sure you will love it.
