Google’s Daydream is awesome. It has enriched the smartphone-based VR platform. If you wish to enjoy the larger-than-life moments, Daydream can be an absolute entertainer for you. Personally, I have really loved using the Daydream.
At times, apps get stuck in Daydream mode. When I try to access the standard Android version of the app, it opens with the split screen VR mode as if my smartphone were in the Daydream headset and I was using the Daydream version of the app. If you have experienced this issue as well, follow the quick steps to fix the problem right away. Let’s dive ahead!
How to Fix Apps Stuck in Daydream Mode
On a few occasions, some apps may not fully close when you quit them. Instead, they get paused and stored in cache. As for instance, if you used Daydream mode, the app will continue to be in that mode even if you have left VR.
How to stop an app from launching into Daydream mode
Step #1. Press the Recent Apps button on your smartphone.
Step #2. Next, you need to find the app stuck in Daydream mode.
Step #3. Now, you have to swipe the stuck app to the left or right.
Step #4. Next up, press Home. Then, re-launch the stuck app.
That’s it! When you relaunch the app, it will leave the Daydream mode.
