How to Enable QuickType in iOS 10 iPhone or iPad
On earlier versions of iOS, QuickType was turned on by default. However, in iOS 10, you may need to turn it on if it’s not enabled. It’s quite simple to enable it.
Step #1. Open an app and bring up the keyboard.
Step #2. Then, you need to tap and hold on the emoji icon at the bottom left of the keyboard. If there are several keyboards active on your iPhone, it may be the globe icon.
Step #3. Now, swipe upwards and turn on Predictive toggle.
Alternatively, you can go to Settings → General → Keyboard and enable it.
How to Use QuickType Keyboard in iOS 10 on iPhone/iPad
Step #1. Open any app and bring up the keyboard. In this test, we will use Messages app.
Step #2. Now, type anything you want. You will see the suggested words in the prediction bar.
You need to tap on the word in the QuickType bar which you want to add to your message.
