“Dark Mode” feature has been something that every iOS users want on their iPhone. There were lots of rumors the next iOS update would come with “Dark Mode.” But, Apple has not introduced the Dark More feature yet. The tech giant released grayscale mode in iOS 8, Night Shift in iOS 9, and the red screen filter in iOS 10. I believe the next iOS 11 updates to show up with the long-awaited “Dark Mode” feature.
Well, Apple recently announced the iOS 11 with some mind-blowing features. But, what about Dark Mode?
Not the exact feature but there are two options – “Smart Invert” and “Classic Invert” that works like Dark Mode on your iPhone. Apple also calls it “redesigned Color Invert.” With the help of these two options, you can reverse the color of your iPhone but won’t reverse images, videos and other apps that already have dark color style.
Step #1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
Well, there is not much difference between Smart and Classic Invert. The Apple Maps app looks same on with both option, and there is no change on the Home Screen with the Smart Invert enable the feature; it looks normal as it looks previously.
You can see the UI turned black with the both option in the Photo app. The Smart Invert enable do not effect on images, videos and other apps which makes the feature more reliable for those who want the “Dark Mode” on the iPhone.
