Even better, it’s pretty easy to access the archived posts. Later, if you decide to bring those hidden posts back to life, you can effortlessly restore them. Read on to find out how it’s done the right way!

How to Archive Instagram Posts on iPhone and Android

Before going ahead with the process, you need to update Instagram to the latest version.

On your iPhone, launch App Store → Updates and tap on the Update button next to Instagram.

On your Android device, launch Play Store → tap on menu button top left corner → My Apps & Games → Updates → tap on the update button next to Instagram.

Step #1. First off, open Instagram on your device.

Step #2. Next, tap on the profile button at the bottom right of the screen.

Step #3. Now, choose the post you want to archive. Then, tap on it.

Step #4. Tap on the tiny three dots at the top right of the post.

Step #5. Finally, select Archive in the menu.

How to View/Access Instagram Posts on iPhone and Android

It’s quite straightforward to access the posts that have archived or hidden for private viewing.




Step #1. Launch Instagram → profile button at the bottom right.

Step #2. Now, tap on the clock icon at the upper right of the screen.

All of your archived posts will be listed on the screen.

How to Restore Instagram Posts from Archive on iPhone and Android

If you ever wish to unarchive your Instagram posts, you will be able to get it done a lot easily.

Step #1. Open Instagram → profile button at the bottom right.

Step #2. Tap on the clock icon at the top right corner.

Step #3. Tap on the post you want to remove from the archive list.

Step #4. Tap on the three dots at the upper right of the post.

Step #5. Next, select Show on Profile.
