It’s really nice to customize the watch face of your Apple Watch. You can change the colors and even the style of the watch face to your liking. Moreover, there is plenty of exciting third party complications to let you customize your smartwatch face in style.

There are two ways you can add watch face complications. While one way is to get it done right from your wearable device, the other way is via your iPhone using the Watch app. Both the methods are quite simple. Here is how it works.

How to add/ remove complication options from the Customize screen in watchOS 3

Third-party apps that support complications will show up in your list of options. You can easily add and remove complications as per your need.

Step #1. Open Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Make sure My Watch tab is selected at the bottom. Tap on Complications.

Step #3. Tap on Edit at the upper right corner of the screen.

  • To add a complication, tap on the plus button (+) to the left next to the app under Do not include.
  • Tap on the minus button (-) to the left of the app you want to remove from the list and then tap on Remove.

Step #4. Tap on Done to confirm.

Step #1. First off, you need to press the Digital Crown to bring up the watch face on your smartwatch.

Step #2. Now, press on the watch face in order to enter customization mode.

Step #3. Choose a watch face.

Step #4. Tap on Customize.

Step #5. Now, you have to swipe to the left until you access the last customization option. It is the complications menu. You need to tap a complication location and then rotate the Digital Crown and scroll through complications to choose one.

You need to repeat the two steps mentioned above for each complication location.

Step #6. Press the Digital Crown in order to exit customization mode and then tap on the watch face to complete the task.

Step #1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Make sure that the My Watch tab is selected at the bottom. Next, you need to swipe to the left or right to choose a watch face.

Step #3. Tap on a complication location which you wish to change.

Step #4. Next, you have to scroll through the complications to choose the one that you like.

You need to repeat the two steps mentioned above for each complication location.
