Having downloaded and installed the Android Nougat on my Android smartphone in order to test it out in advance, I am making the most of new features like Navigation bar. Frankly speaking, I can’t wait to put my hands on the new Android OS.

I am a huge fan of the flappy droid mini-game and enjoy playing it on my Android device. The all new mini-game on Android 7.0 has been inspired by “Neko Atsume Kitty Collector” and has packed in with some fantastic tricks to keep you entertained like never before.

In order to get started, you will have to activate Android Nougat Easter egg mini game on your phone. Here is how it works.

How to Activate Android Nougat Easter Egg Mini Game

Step #1. Launch the Settings app on your Android smartphone.

Step #2. Next up, you need to scroll down to the “About Phone” tab at the bottom of the Settings app. Then tap on “Android Version” three times quickly.

Step #3. Now, tap on the large “N” logo a few times then long press on it.

Step #4. If you see a cat Emoji below the “N”, it means the Easter egg has been activated.

How to Play the Cat Collection mini game

Unlike Lollipop and Marshmallow, you will have to add the cat mini-game to your Android’s Quick Settings window before starting the game. It’s pretty simple to do.

Step #1. First up, you have to pull down the notification bar twice to open up the Quick Settings toggles. Then tap on the “Edit” button.

Step #2. Now, you need to long press on the Android Easter Egg tile and drag it to the current tiles in the Quick Settings window.

Step #3. Next, Android Easter Egg tile will be seen in the Quick Settings window as “Empty dish”.

Step #4. Tap on the “Empty dish” tile and select between 4 items – fish, bits, chicken, and treat. The food items will replace the empty dish.

Right after filling the dish, you will get a notification “A cat is here” from Android Neko (name of the mini-game).

Step #5. Up next, you have to tap on the cat notification in order to view your cat collection, and tap on the cat to rename it.

Step #6. Finally, press the share button and share a high-resolution image of the virtual pet cat.

That’s all there is to it! Go ahead and enjoy Android Nougat Easter mini egg to your heart’s liking. I’m sure it will win you over.
