Just like millions of gaming aficionados around the world, I’m also floored by the Pokémon Go. After all, catching Pokémon or getting into an ugly gym fight is absolute fun. No wonder, the game has instantly attracted game lovers.

Pokémon Go comes with a Settings pane to let you configure it as desired. There are some handy options like Battery Saver which can prevent the battery drain on your smartphone. Hence, it would be better to know the settings in order to make the most of this ultra-popular augmented reality game. Let’s have a look!

How to Access Pokémon Go Settings Pane on Android Phone

Step #1. Launch Pokémon Go on your Android device.

Step #2. On the Map View, you will have to tap on Poké Ball at the bottom of the screen.

Step #3. Next up, you have to tap on the Settings icon from the top right-hand corner.

Step #4. There you are! On the next page, you will see the settings pane with several options.

By default, music is turned on. Though it’s great to keep it enabled as it spices up the experience, you need to turn it off, if you want to save battery.

Sound Effects

Sound Effected are also turned on by default. Frankly speaking, I love the sound effects while engaged in playing the game. However, it tends to strain the battery. So disable it.

Vibrations let you know when there is any Pokémon nearby. But if you are concerned about saving battery, turn it off.

Battery Saver

Battery Saver is a very handy feature. Having played the game for a couple of days, I realized how fast Pokémon Go drains the battery. Fortunately, I discovered it hidden in the settings pane. Turn it to conserve power on your device.
