Solution #1: Check Smart Stay Option
Samsung has added the Smart Stay option in Galaxy S3 and continued with latest S8/S8 Plus and Note 8. So, make sure that you have Smart Stay option enabled or disabled. If you have Smart Stay turned on and looked at your phone screen, then it will turn on automatically. So, this could affect the behavior of the device.
