Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL are easily the best Android smartphones. Flaunting impressive design, stunning camera and elegant Android Nougat, Pixel smartphones have been primed to take on the mighty iPhones in general and iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in particular.
There is one important feature that Google Pixel lacked was the ability to let users view notifications a bit easily from the lock screen. To view the notifications, you had to pick the smartphone and either touch the fingerprint sensor or press the power button. Personally, I didn’t like this old way of checking out the latest alerts. Honestly speaking, I wanted to have “iPhone 7’s Raise to Wake” like functionality in order to view notifications on lock screen with ease.
Thanks to a recently released software update for the Pixel, the smartphone has added two cool features like “Lift to Wake” and “Double-Tap to Wake”. Much to the surprise of many, they haven’t got any mention in the change log. Wish to give these two smart features a try? Let’s run across!
