Method #1: Transfer with Local Backup
Step #1. Launch WhatsApp app on your Android phone.
Step #2. Tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right of your screen.
Step #3. Tap on Settings.
Step #4. Tap on Chat first and then chat backup.
Step #5. Tap on Backup.
Over here you need to know that everyday WhatsApp takes an automatic backup at 2 AM, no matter which country you live in. So you need to take this backup from your Android phone to your new iPhone when you are changing your smartphones. WhatsApp app will automatically start restoring data on your iPhone from the Google Drive.
Method #3: Transfer WhatsApp Data via Email
Step #1. Launch your WhatsApp on your Android phone.
Step #2. Tap on the three vertical dots on the top right corner of your screen.
Step #3. Move on to Settings.
Step #4. Now, tap on Chats and then on Chat history.
Step #5. Tap on Email chat.
Step #6. Select the chat you want to email, then select ‘ATTACH MEDIA’ or ‘WITHOUT MEDIA’ option as per your liking.
Note: You can email individual chats only and not all in one go.
Step #8. Now select your email option and write the email address you want to store this data, and then tap on Send.
Step #10. Finish the entire necessary requirement after downloading WhatsApp on your new iPhone.
Step #11. You will be prompted to restore message, including your emails with WhatsApp chats, Tap on Restore.
