Solution #1: Restart your Pixel/Pixel XL phone

At times, app freezing or crashing is fixed by just restarting the device. So, give this simple tip a try.

To restart your Pixel phone, simply press your device’s power button for about 30 seconds.

Solution #2: Clean Up the App

Clean up the cache as well as app data. It will not just free up space but also fix the issue.

Step #1. Open Settings app → Apps or Application manager.

Step #2. Tap on the app in question.

Step #3. Now, you have to tap on Clear Data. Then, tap on Clear Cache.

Now, restart your phone as usual. Once it has been rebooted, launch the app. It should be doing well.

Solution #3. Update the App

Make sure to update the app if the latest version is available.

Step #1. Open the Play Store app → Tap on menu button at the top left → My apps & games.

Step #2. You should see apps with available updates. Tap on Update next to the app you want to update.

If several updates are available, tap on Update all.

Solution #4: Uninstall the App, then Reinstall It

It will delete all the data saved in the app. Make sure to back it up if you don’t want to lose the data.

Step #1. Simply touch and hold the app you wish to uninstall.

Step #2. Next, drag the app at the top of the screen.

Update your Pixel smartphone to the latest version. System updates can help you fix the issue.

Step #1. Open Settings app on your smartphone.

Step #2. Now, you need to scroll to the bottom and tap on About phoneSystem updates.
