Tip #1: Allow only One AirPod to Use as Microphone

Both your AirPods work as a microphone by default as well. So what we need to do is to see whether allowing only one AirPod as a microphone solves the issue or not. Here is how you can do that.

Step #1. Go to Settings and then tap to Bluetooth.

Forgetting the existing AirPods on your pair iPhone and then re-pair them is another smart solution which should work in our favor, so it is a good idea to give a try.

Step #1. Go to Settings and then tap on Bluetooth.

Step #2. Tap on ‘i’ next to the AirPods option and then tap on ‘Forget this Device’ option just below ‘Disconnect’ option.

Tip #3: Turn off Automatic Ear Detection Feature

Step #1. Put your AirPods into its case.

Step #2. Now close the lid of your AirPod case and wait for say 15 seconds.

Step #3. Open the lid of your AirPod case and check the current status of AirPods light. The light between two rested AirPods in the case should flash white.

Tip #7: Change Outputs and Inputs on Your Mac

If you are also using Mac, then you need to change certain settings on it to enable your AirPods working well on your iPhone again.

Step #1. Move to ‘System Preferences’ on your Mac.

Syncing Problems

Some of the users have found out that there is a syncing problem with their AirPods. Sometimes only one AirPod is working, and other is not because of this problem. This problem occurs after two days of their new purchase of AirPods, as first two days both AirPods work fine and from the third day, they start getting out of sync, or at least one of it does.
